Stars for practitioners is built from assessment data only — validated instruments and the quiz batteries your client actually completes. No birth chart, no astrology, no speculation. Every element of the profile cites a peer-reviewed instrument or paper, and the profile is then referenced across the same data architecture as everything else.
Built from the scores of instruments the client completed. Nothing here is inferred from a birth date; every line names the instrument behind it.
Illustrative. Each score links to the instrument's manual and validation citation, and to its tier on the instrument map.
ECR-R / ECR-S (attachment), BFI-2 (Big Five), SOI-R (sociosexuality), TLS-15 (intimacy), MAIA-2 (interoception), RAS (relationship satisfaction), plus state check-ins and domain batteries — administered in-app or scored from results the client already has.
Where several validated measures converge on the same pattern, that's surfaced — with the two-axis independence model attached, so you can see whether it's genuine corroboration or the same construct measured twice.
MAIA-2 interoceptive-awareness subscales and BPQ-SF body-perception scores. Polyvagal state itself has no validated instrument (flagged Tier D) — it's used as framing language, never as a score.
Re-administer any battery and see the delta across sessions — attachment anxiety trending down, relationship satisfaction trending up — as evidence of movement, not a vibe.
The profile is stored, versioned, and exportable, and flows through the same content-addressed pipeline and concept graph as any other Stars profile — so it can be queried, correlated, and re-run when an instrument is added.
A one-page synthesis for a session — the convergent patterns, the change since last time, and open questions — every line cited to its instrument.
Every claim cites a peer-reviewed instrument manual or paper. The instrument map grades each measure Tier A–D; nothing below Tier B is wired in. ECR-R, BFI-2, SOI-R, TLS-15, MAIA-2, RAS are the backbone — used as published, not repackaged.
MBTI, the Enneagram, Jungian cognitive functions, Human Design, and Chapman "love languages" have no validated instrument (Tier C/D) and are not part of this product. If a construct can't be measured, the profile says so rather than guessing.
Attachment is scored on two continuous axes, not sorted into four boxes; the style label is a visualisation of where a score falls, never the stored ground truth (Fraley et al., 2015).
For reflection and case conceptualisation — not diagnosis, risk assessment, or any consequential decision about a client.
If you also supply a birth chart, Stars can show where the
psychometric profile and the astrological layer line up and where they
diverge — for teaching and research only. This is the data that feeds the
calibrates_to edges (does an ECR-R anxiety score track a
Moon–Saturn contact across a population?). It is never part of a
client-facing synthesis, and with it turned off the product is purely
psychometric. See Researchers for the
convergence dataset this produces.
Stars turns a stack of instrument scores into one legible, cited synthesis so a session starts from evidence instead of a blank page. What it means for this person, and what to do about it, stays with you and them. Founding clinicians and coaches get a permanent free account for telling us where the synthesis helps and where it misleads.
Invite-only beta. The quiz batteries and scoring are live today; importing third-party instrument results and the chart-free profile path are in active development. Client management and session briefs are on the Practitioner tier ($59/mo).
