A spirit attribution with no source is an assertion. Stars shows the table it came from — Lemegeton, Sefer ha-Shem, Agrippa, Picatrix — so you can check it against your own copies. Where the tradition is contested or we hold no source, the entry says so rather than picking a side silently.
The spirit tables were transcribed by hand from primary texts. If an attribution disagrees with your edition, we want the correction and the citation. Founding practitioners get a permanent free account for that kind of scrutiny.
